The Da Vinci Casaneo Series 5898 Flat Brush is made using synthetic Kazan Squirrel hair and is suitable for use with watercolour or fluid acrylic paint. These brushes have a short, hexagonal, black polished handle finished and a silver colour ferrule. These brushes are 100% synthetic so are suitable for vegan artists and those looking for animal-friendly brushes.

Da Vinci Casaneo brushes are made using soft synthetic fibres that have been specially designed to offer similar elasticity and colour holding capabilities as a natural squirrel hair brush. The Series 5898 Flat brush has sharp, square edges that can be used to paint washes or to create bold, hard edge strokes.
