Zest-It Wax Solvent

Zest-It Wax Solvent is ideal for thinning wax and oil mixtures to change their working properties. Thinning your oil and wax mixes with Wax Solvent allows you to create glazes and drizzles. Do not use Wax Solvent with water-based products.

Wax Solvent is non-toxic, non-flammable and is low in VOC's (volatile organic compounds). This means little of the solvent will be lost to your work area in the way of fumes. It has a slight yellow colour and a mild citrus smell. When used to clean brushes and other painting tools it can be saved and reuse. Simply allow it to stand and separate then decant the clear liquid. The clear liquid can be reused many times and has a long active life.

As with all solvents, it is advised to practice good safety measures. Use Wax Solvent in a well ventilated area and do not smoke, eat, or drink when using it. Always wash hands after use. Harmful if swallowed, repeated exposure may cause dryness.
