Winsor & Newton Studio Collection Soft Thick-core Coloured Pencil Sets provide collections of coloured pencils in a balanced spectrum of hues, that can be used to add colour to your sketches whether you are in the studio or working on the go.
These thick-core coloured pencils allow you to add wonderfully rich, vibrant colour with ease. Their high-quality leads are durable and responsive; a soft texture allows colour to be laid down smoothly while also being strong enough to withstand considerable pressure. These pencils are highly versatile and can be used for a variety of techniques, no matter whether you are building up multiple layers of colour or working on the most subtle shading. They will retain their point excellently and can be easily re-sharpened to a precise point when worn down.
These pencil sets are beautifully finished and presented in a stylish metal tin embossed with Winsor & Newton’s iconic griffin logo.
Now available in sets of 12 and 24. To see which colours are included in each set please click on the ‘Contents’ tab above.

Write a reviewExcellent quality and value. Made a lovely gift. Arrived when expected.
I tried 2 different sets and both times the leads kept breaking. It's a shame because the texture is quite nice but I wouldn't buy these pencils again.
When I started focusing on producing art I thought the cheapest coloured pencils would work just fine, and how wrong I was. Art materials should enable and enhance the creative experience, and this is what the Studio Collection pencils are about. They contain intense colour of very high quality. I use them in combination with less pigmented crayons and on top of Rembrandt soft pastels, to reinforce areas and provide the saturated tones I'm looking after.
