It's a small bottle, but a little goes a long way and you only need a couple of fingertip's worth to massage into your brushes. Tried it on old and new brushes. It keeps the newer ones nice and supple. It had some degree of effect on my older brushes, but I had probably let them go too far before using the conditioner on them. Make sure you clean your brushes well at the end of a session; apply just a tiny spot of conditioner and gently massage it through the bristles. Finally, I just wiped it off on a paper towel to remove any excess. (A quick swirl in thinner before I used the brush again, and the brush felt almost as good as new for a lot longer than I was previously used to.)
