Da Vinci Forte Basic Synthetics are an affordably priced brush range perfect for beginners, students and hobbyists. They are made with 100% synthetic fibres and are suitable for vegan artists or those looking to cut back on animal-derived art supplies. The set includes a good mixture of shapes and sizes suitable for small paintings. Their synthetic fibres offer great strength, elasticity and flexibility.
Forte Basic Synthetics have short, blue matt wooden handles, an aluminium ferrule and brown synthetic fibre tips.

Good value
I’m a fan of Da Vinci watercolour brushes so when I needed some new ones for acrylic, I bought this set. They are perfect for this medium. I’m very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone starting out in acrylic painting. I do prefer short handles.
