The Aquafine Pointed Wash Brush available in sizes 2, 4 and 6. Aquafine uses Daler-Rowney’s unique formulation of thick and thin filaments, tapered to a point, as well as different lengths to become a remarkable imitation of natural sable hair.
This special construction allows Daler-Rowney synthetic brushes to outperform all other synthetic brushes in point and stroke, and guarantees that the brushes will not split. They have excellent shape retention and longer life than natural sable hair.
These brushes have short handles.

Still getting used to it, carries paint well, some stray hairs dropping off at times.

I ordered the size 6 and 2, I was concerned at first as both brushes shed a lot of hairs, don't let that put you off these brushes, after a very short time (2 or 3 paintings) the shedding stopped and the brushes are a joy to use, in fact I though they were that good I had to check the writing on the handle to make sure they were imitation squirrel and not the real thing, they felt just like real squirrel hair, I was amazed how much water they held and how well they performed, the size 6 is now my favourite wash brush, A big thank you to Ken Bromley's for always providing excellent service.

This brush is good but I want to invest in Kolinsky sable Mop brush in future. Nevertheless its good quality and works brilliantly.
