  • Nice addition to Derwent range

I am a crafter not an artist & have some Derwent coloursoft pencils which I use to colour stamped images so when these came out I thought I'd try them out. I am very pleased they are quite creamy & blend well without leaving lines. Very happy with them.

  • Good, but not as fantastic as Inktense

After the joyful experience of previously purchased Inktense watercolour pencils, these Chromaflows had a mountain to climb in order to compete. I was curious to find out what the effect of their claimed waxiness would be. It is, of course, a question of one's preferred discipline to some extent. Also, in all fairness, I only tried them on white paper where they are not especially spectacular. I'm sure they would have a greater claim to glory on dark paper! So, not altogether my cup of tea, though more experimentation should follow, and I'm sure they will prove to be a worthy addition to the Derwent collection.
