  • Best product for paper prep

I love using Golden Satin Glazing Fluid to prep any old paper, even scrap printer paper, for wet media art. A couple of coats, drying between, gives a good surface to work on. People who enjoy colouring books would find this useful as some of them do not contain paper that is wet-medium friendly. It seals the surface and prevents bleed-through, even on thin paper. It gives a smoother finish than clear gesso, but it does have some tooth. I always keep a bottle of this ready to hand in my studio and use it with watercolour, acrylics and water-based markers.

  • Best gloss medium I have found

I am basically a watercolourist but have been using acrylic paints for a few years; have struggled to find a really good medium to provide a gloss finish and slow the drying time - this one is the best I have found so far. Does the job and you do not need to use a lot of it.

  • Great for making my acrylic a bit more transparent

I use acrylics with my collage and it is great for thinning out my acrylic without breaking the binder in the paint. Love it.
