The paper is made from 90% bamboo fibre and 10% rag, has a natural white colour and is acid free and age resistant. Suitable for a range of applications including watercolour, acrylic, pastel painting technique, sketching and mixed media.

Pleasantly surprised
I wanted an inexpensive ecological, vegan paper and this was a 'might as well' buy. It is easily the best quality paper I have painted on, there was no buckling, only mild curling on very heavy washes I had not taped, nor stretched. The colours remained beautifully vibrant. Similar texture to their Brittania paper, between NOT and HP and a slight off white colour. Well sized, too, no chalkiness. Dimensionally fits easily into a bag for spur of the moment inspirations. Really delighted. Will be searching out larger pads and blocks.

The surface is sort of 'cloudy' rough (not toothy or abrasive), and it works surprisingly well (without too much friction) for detailed work with a fine nib. Caran d'Ache Luminance pencils come out more bright and intense on this paper than on any other paper I've tried.

Very pleased with this - dimensions weight and texture excellent. Only complaint is I'd like to see one in a larger size too.
