Write a reviewI have use kolinski squirrel hair brushes for 30+ years. I never even bothered with synthetic. These are wonderful. I have even more control over the amount of water held in the brush. Try them. You will like them.
A "Master" watercolor Artist, Joseph Zbukvic recommends these brushes, and there's no reason to wonder why, once you use them. When you need to make precise marks on your paper, these brushes hold their points, as well as any brush made. They do this and are still able to not be so soft as to not be resilient, and yet you feel confident that the precise point will be there when you need it. This "confidence" lends itself to "carry" you through the painting process, and the merits of this are simply outstanding. As Mr. Zbukvic teaches, you must have "faith" or confidence that you will be able to complete the painting, as you saw it , in your minds eye.As the title describes, "these" are the best tools you can own.
These are a real pleasure to use. The synthetic fibres are great for general watercolour use and really simulate the flow and colour holding properties of any quality sable brushes I've used. they're a really good sable alternative, A serious all rounder.
