Karin Brushmarker PRO Flower Colours Set of 12

The Karin Brushmarker PRO Flower Colours Set of 12 contains twelve yellow, pink, red and violet toned brush marker pens. This assortment of pens can be used to explore a range of botanical hues and have a flexible brush tip. They are fantastic for all kinds of painting and sketching techniques including calligraphy, colouring, illustration or for creating watercolour-like washes. The colours included in this set are:

• Sulphur Yellow, Orange Red, Fire Red, Red, Lipstick Red, Rose Pink, Magenta Red, Burgundy, Cerise, Magenta, Red Lilac, Pale Violet (subject to variation)

The flexible tip of the Brushmarker PRO is highly responsive, making it a brilliant tool for hand-lettering and calligraphy techniques. Colour can be applied in solid strokes or blended using various methods. Once colour has been applied to the surface it can be blended using a wet brush or blender pen. You can create temporary two-toned colour by gently touching the tips of two markers together. Colour can also be applied directly to a palette and then lifted using a brush or pen.

Each pen holds 2.4ml of non-toxic paint. As these pens are dye based, the ink will fade if exposed to prolonged, direct exposure to sunlight. When not in use pens should be stored vertically, tip facing upwards with caps firmly in place.

Karin markers react differently to different papers. We found Millford and Bockingford to be the best, although all our watercolour papers are suitable apart from Saunders.
