Mabef Rectangle Oil Palette

these wooden palette are made by a well known and reputable manufacturer, whose products are well tested and known to us for over a year or more; however, I only bought these for emergency use, as I am using a different palette which is at the different level. Still, these are useful for being mobile, though, equally, as are others which can be stored in a seal air tight case; thus, enabling the pigments on the palette to keep for over two weeks if they are added with appropriate mediums to prolong their drying time; which, in-itself, makes the palette even more interesting. These pallettes are fine but beware, they are not solid wood. They are made from thin MDF or similar and covered with a kind of vinyl sheet with a wood pattern. This outer finish is messed up if you clean the palette with paint stripper so use white spirit or turps if oil painting. Otherwise they are fine; lightweight and feel nice to hold.
