Magnani 1404 Annigoni Buff Drawing Paper Pad

The Magnani 1404 Annigoni Buff Drawing Paper Pad is a traditional beige drawing paper with a natural grain. The pad includes 25 sheets of 100% cotton 250gsm (117lb) paper that is suitable for drawing techniques with pens, pencils, pastels and charcoal but will also handle light washes of wet media. The mid-tone of this paper is great for all kinds of drawing techniques as you can work in highlights and shadows without needing to render any middle values. This technique lets you quickly build up a composition with dramatic contrasts between light and dark. It is also suitable for being treated with natural mediums like rabbit glue.

Traditionally made on a cylinder mould machine, Annigoni’s surface was developed by master papermakers in partnership with Italian artist Pietro Annigoni who used it in his own artworks.

This paper is acid free, chlorine free and contains no optical brightening agents.
