Mahlstick (also known as mahl stick or maulstick)
This Mahlstick has a soft leather head and is a traditional tool used to help support the artists hand during painting. The stick is fitted with a lightweight coated metal handle which comes in two parts. These parts screw together to give the stick an overall length of 900mm. The diameter of the head is approximately 40mm in diameter.

I began to experience considerable pain in my shoulder and hands die entirely to my posture. Watching an art tutorial, the teacher used an artists mahlstuck and I decided to give it a try. The difference is incredible. Not only in terms of comfort but giving my hand and arm the stability to do detailed work with precision. Highly recommend. Not easy to find and Bronleys price was the most competitive.
