A fully synthetic brush offering the same performance as genuine sable
Perfect for applying colour in washes and for painting sharp edges
Short handled
The Princeton Aqua Elite Series 4850 Wash Watercolour Brush is a 100% synthetic alternative to natural sable hair brushes. The wash brush has a short, flat profile perfect for applying colour in washes and for painting sharp edges.
The Aqua Elite Watercolour Brush range uses Princeton's synthetic hair technology to create a brush that delivers the same performance as genuine Kolinsky Sable Hair. They have superb colour holding capacity, a fine point and consistent flow. They are perfect for artists looking to reduce the amount of animal-derived art materials they use. Aqua Elite Brushes are popular with both professionals and beginners.
These brushes have short, clear plastic, round handles.

Write a reviewThe brush itself is good quality and reasonably priced. However, I was disappointed to find that after having purchased a product supposedly made by a reputable American company, the brush was actually made in China. It left me with a bad impression of Princeton brushes.
