  • Good brushes to use with Artisan Oils

These are the type of brushes to use with water based oils - do not use hogs as the bristles swell. I like the long bristle length to produce smooth strokes. Add on a couple of Filberts and a 203 rigger to give you all you need to produce good results.

  • Acrylix series 201 are ideal for use with Artisan water based oils

Have used a number of brushes from this range with waterbased oils and found them very good. They keep their shape well and do not swell in water as with hogs.
