The Pro Arte Bristlene Series D Synthetic Hog Brush Wallet contains 5 brushes in assorted shapes and sizes. The set includes brushes in round, flat and filbert shapes.
Bristlene brushes are made from a blend of synthetic fibres specially designed to mimic the working properties of natural hog hair brushes. As they are 100% synthetic, these brushes make great alternative to hog hair brushes for vegan artists and those looking for animal-free art supplies. Their fibres are exceptionally durable and offer excellent shape retention. The following brushes are included in this set:

Great quality, cruelty free brushes
I bought these bristlene brushes as a vegan alternative to hog hair for dry brush blending acrylics and oil painting. They're excellent at both. Great quality, too.

I've been using these brushes with oil paints for a week now, working on three paintings...
Whether you'll like them or not depends on the effects you want in your style of painting, but I think they're amazing and a fantastic bargain!!
The precision is excellent, quite unlike other hog brushes I use. The only negative is that the bristles stain easily, but I can live with that.

I like these pro art brushes because they offer a good blend of flexiblity and stiffness, just what you need for Oil painting. This set is a good combination of different types and the brushes seem well made and durable.
