The variable line widths are set by a screw adjustment.

Really useful for masking small areas.

Although it is exactly what I need for my art work, t would have been better if it had a rotating nib for easier cleaning. Nonetheless I am very happy with it and with Ken Bromley's terrific service to Canada.
