Disappointing
I experimented with the ‘Shire’ set of paints on Saunders Waterford Rough 200lbs paper to assess the potential value of these paints for landscape and floral artwork. The Shire Blue granulated effectively, but the other two in the set, Shire Olive and Shire Green, were insipid and the granulation hardly noticeable. The darker tones may generally be more effective, but I can obtain better results using other manufacturers products.
