The Seawhite Heavyweight Cartridge Pad includes 25 sheets of 220gsm paper for mixed media painting techniques. Seawhite’s cartridge paper is sized to perform with both wet and dry media. This paper is a medium weight so can accept both dry media and heavier applications of wet media. These paper pads are gummed along one side and feature both an attractive printed cover and 2mm rigid board backing. The paper in these sketchbooks is both acid and chlorine free, and is made from FSC® certified materials. The paper is sized with a synthetic sizing so these pads are completely animal-free.
Each pad contains 25 sheets of paper.

Takes a lot of erasing without complaining!
So far have used mainly for graphite pet drawings using erasing and shading with no damage to the surface. However, for a test, I did try drawing with watercolour pencils. Looked good until applying light wetting with a water brush when the surface appeared to lift a little resulting in a slight roughening when dry. Will still give it 5 stars as did buy it for drawing and the surface texture is great.
