The Kew Book of Drawing Flowers by Bianca Giarola is filled with failsafe lessons for drawing floral and botanical illustrations. In her book, Bianca brings together all the advice she wishes she’d known when she first started drawing flowers. It’s an essential guide that includes all the tips and tricks you’ll need to make a successful drawing, as well as a series of step-by-step projects to test your drawing skills. The book covers everything from the most basic floral studies to bold and intricate blooms. The projects begin by introducing basic techniques and drawing skills, and get progressively harder and more complex as the book goes on. It’s ideal for any artist looking to develop a complete understanding of how to draw flowers. You’ll be able to use your new skills to create your own floral projects or to create illustrations for prints, journals and stationery.
