These Uni-ball Posca PC-1MR Extra Fine Tip Paint Markers have a 0.7m extra fine tip and are filled with opaque, acrylic, water-based ink. They are available in 16 colours.
The fine, technical tip of this pen makes it ideal for precision detail and refined linework. It has all the benefits of a paint marker but with the accuracy of a pen! It’s calibrated tip produces a clear line that is skip-free with a uniform width.

POSCA paint markers contain an opaque, fluid ink that will write on virtually any surface. The Uni-ball Posca PC-1m Extra Fine Bullet Pen is filled with pigment in that is both fade-proof and water resistant. When applied to paper or card it is also permanent and bleed-proof. To make your marker drawings permanent on other materials you can use one of the treatments outlined below:
- Glass: bake in the oven at 160°C for 45 minutes then spray with clear varnish
- Textiles: iron on reverse side
- Metal, plastic and wood: spray with clear varnish
- Terracotta: bake at 220°C for 45 minutes, then spray with clear varnish
- Porcelain: bake at 160°C for 45 minutes, then spray with clear varnish

Highlight perfection!
These Poscas are amazing for highlights! The white is very opaque and performs really really well on top of watercolours, Neocolor 2's and coloured pencil. Even though this nib is small, I don't use it for fur, but for eye and sometimes nose highlights it's really fabulous

The pens are easy to hold, easy to use and deliver colour with precision. Great colour saturation. Excellent tool even in the hands of a rank amateur like me. I use them in combination with watercolour markers.
