Write a reviewThere is a lot of nonsense spoken about the quality of paints and only being ok for beginners. The paints are a measure of the artists ability and if you are any good these will measure up to any other watercolours out there. I'm a professional artist and I've used them for five years and have neither had nor received any complaints - great value, great paints.
Bought as an offer, but I wish I had been braver and bought more. This is the first time that I have used Cotman water and I am very excited about their outcomes.
One of the best watercolor boxes I've owned, ample mixing room, compact, and 24 half pans -- plenty of pigments to work with. It is sturdily built and functions well. I have tried it in the field successfully, painting with permission on a local farm. I call it my "maxi" outdoor sketching setup.
Highly recommended.
