"I am known for giving my brushes strong punishment. My new line of Escoda Prado synthetics will face the challenge like no other!"
~ Alvaro Castagnet
Alvaro Castagnet is an Uruguayan artist of world renown that has been honoured in numerous art competitions. He is a successful author who travels the world attending exhibitions, hosting workshops and participating as a member of the jury for international art events.
Although Castagnet is a watercolour painter, he uses a long handle synthetic Prado brush for most of his incredible work. This is not a common characteristic in watercolour technique, but it demonstrates that Castagnet uses this brush to dominate his work from a certain distance. He typically uses sizes from 6 to 14, but his set includes the intermediate sizes 8, 10 and 12.

Write a reviewGood brushes. I want more sizes.
Would have liked a bigger brush at the top end, maybe a 14 or 16 instead of the 12
Highest quality brushes with great point. Very good value!
