All Caran d'Ache Grafwood Graphite Pencils are rated with Good (***) lightfastness based on international ASTM D-6901 certification & the Blue Wool Scale. All grades of Grafwood pencils contain a small amount of tallow, animal fat extract.

Superb pencils offering a complete tonal range
Although more expensive than others these pencils are without doubt the best I have used. Smooth graphite and consistant distribution across the paper with no hard imperfections as some that I have used. The softer grades providing really intense dark tones

Absolutely fantastic pencil! It's not a first time I used Caran D'ache pencil but for the first time I have full set. It gives amazing results with shading and gives realistic results of my portraits drawings. WIll always recomend to everybody.
