Neocolor I Wax Pastels are a versatile drawing and painting tool, perfect for artists of all abilities and for a wide variety of applications. They are a high quality wax-based crayon, with a creamy texture that allows you to apply vivid colour with ease. Each colour has excellent lightfastness, superior covering power and is made with the finest pigments to ensure batch to batch consistency.

Neocolor I Wax Pastels can be used on almost any surface - try them out on paper, canvas, cardboard, glass, wood, leather, fabric, stone and more! Their soft texture makes them easy to paint and blend - they can also be used for frottage (rubbing), sgraffito and batik effects! Apply heat to the crayon and you’ll be able to use them with encaustic painting techniques. They can also be manipulated with turpentine or mineral spirits to create painterly effects.

Each crayon has a 8.65mm diameter.
