  • Good (ish) value

Depending on the surface you use with the pen nibs with definitely prolong on shorten the life of the nibs. Smooth or medium watercolour is fine for these fine nibs. Hot pressed watercolour paper wears them out real quick!. The larger size nibs may be better at handling hot pressed watercolour paper than these fine nibs.
