The set contains a set of primaries and a selection of earth colours - a limited palette that is perfect for popping in your pocket and taking on your plein air painting trips.
Daniel Smith Half Pans are made from the same quality materials as their tubed watercolour paints. Each half pan is hand poured in a series of layers over several months to achieve the purest possible pan. They use identical pigments to their tubed counterparts and have dense pigmentation to deliver the best colour. These pans are easily rewettable.
The plastic palette included in this set is perfect for taking outdoors on plein air painting trips due to its small size. There are also 9 empty half pans included in the set that can be filled with tube colour.
This set contains the following colours: Hansa Yellow Medium, Quinacridone Rose, Ultramarine Blue, Cerulean Blue Chromium, Monte Amiata Natural Sienna, Transparent Red Oxide.
