This Derwent Pastel Pencil Sample is fantastic if you are looking to try out the Pastel Pencil range.
Derwent Pastel Pencils let you experience all the benefits of working in soft pastel, but without all the dust and mess! They are essentially a soft pastel encased in a wooden barrel. This format makes them easy to use without getting dusty fingers, easy to sharpen and easy to transport. The wooden casing also provides protection for the colour inside. Use these pencils with all the same techniques as you would with your favourite soft pastels.

So easy to use
I hadn’t tried pastel pencils but wanted to give it a go. So I sent for this sample. I was more than happy with it, it was so easy to use, and gave me good results. I have now added them to my birthday list.
