Dr Ph Martins Bleed Proof White is an opaque watercolour that can be used to cover dye-based colours, markers and designer colours. It is a brilliant white with excellent covering power. This product should be used for covering only - not mixing with colour. It can be applied with a brush or dip pen, and can be thinned with water.
Bleed Proof White comes in a 30ml (1 oz) glass jar.

Useful, versatile white medium.
Intense white with many applications. Easy to use with other watercolour mediums.

I found reviews of this whilst looking for a good white gouache and although this is technically not a gouache it is a fantastic product. Its a very bright zinc white, and can be thinned out with water for a runnier consistency, thinning it out makes it a bit transparent however it can be built up - its ooblek sort of consistency in the jar so you have to agitate it to be able to pick some up. I haven't put it through its paces yet to see if it's waterproof once dried but I have used it in highlights that needed a lighter colour on top and it's worked beautifully. I drew on top of it with coloured pencils and the texture is a bit funny, if you use it runnier in multiple washes it will build up and raise a bit like acrylic would but unlike acrylic you can rehydrate after its dried out. It also mixes really well with gouache. I'm very happy with it and would highly recommend it if you're looking for a pigmented opaque white.
