Golden Archival Aerosol Varnish MSA

Golden Archival Aerosol Varnish MSA is a solvent-based, spray varnish with UVLs and reversible acrylic co-polymer resin. The aerosol can makes this varnish easy to apply. It features all the same properties as Golden’s Brushable MSA varnish and is made with fast drying acetone and a propellant. When applied properly it creates a durable, even film with excellent wet/dry state clarity. This varnish maintains its flexibility and and resists changes in appearance overtime. Each aerosol can is fitted with an adjustable fan spray tip for precise application and reduced overspray. This varnish is removable for conservation purposes.

Use MSA Solvent, commercial mineral spirits (such as paint thinner or white spirits), or distilled/rectified turpentine to remove MSA Varnish. This varnish works well over many types of paints like acrylic, oil, alkyd, watercolour and casein. When used as a topcoat over acrylics, it creates a tougher, less sticky surface that's better at resisting dirt and scratches.

Available in Gloss, Satin and Matt in a 400ml aerosol.
