This Joseph Zbukvic set contains two round Escoda Aquario "Mop" brushes, size 14 and 18 and are made with squirrel hair. The brushes were developed and created following strict instructions by Zbukvic himself and are intended for use on larger pieces of work. It is a Limited Edition set due to the scarcity of squirrel hair.

Lovely Brushes
Super soft squirrel that holds lots of liquid and comes to a fine point when needed. Well made and nicely finished. I particularly like the parallel ferrule with its matt finish and triple-crimping to the handle.
A note on sizing. On-line art retailers (all of them) could do much better in detailing the actual dimensions of brushes, particularly with some manufacturers like Escoda having their own wacky numbering system. FYI the No. 14 is 220mm overall, with a 11.7mm ferrule x 32mm brush head; the No. 18 is 237mm and 16 x 40mm.25 of 25 people found this review helpful. Did you?Wonderful mops for a fair price
Fine brushes with great control. You'll love them if you like to work with mops. They are slightly different than Isabey mops which I am used to. With these you get more precision due to the hair which have more spring compared to Isabey.
I was informed that the size of the larger one (no. 18) is equivalent to the Isabey no. 10 but I found that it is more likely equivalent to the Isabey no. 8.16 of 16 people found this review helpful. Did you?Great mop brushes
These are used by Joseph Zbukviv in his paintings, they are great wash brushes, holding a good amount of water but they also come to a good point. I'm still getting used to them.
