Karin Brushmarker PRO 11 Basic Colours plus Blender

This Karin Brushmarker PRO 12 Piece Set contains a selection of 11 basic colours plus one blender pen. The set covers a good colour spectrum, making it a great set for those looking to try out this range. These pens are compatible with a variety of techniques including calligraphy, colouring, illustration and watercolour-like effects.

Brushmarker PRO pens are fitted with a durable Japanese nylon nib that is very responsive. It can be used to lay down colour in bold strokes and there are a variety of ways that colours can be blended together. Apply colour then use a wet brush or blender pen to manipulate the ink. Two-toned colour can also be achieved by gently touching the nibs of two pens together. Colour can also be applied directly to a palette then lifted with a brush or pen. Mix and match techniques for endless creativity!

Each pen holds 2.4ml of non-toxic paint. As these pens are dye based, the ink will fade if exposed to prolonged, direct exposure to sunlight. When not in use pens should be stored vertically, tip facing upwards with caps firmly in place.

Karin markers react differently to different papers. We found Millford and Bockingford to be the best, although all our watercolour papers are suitable apart from Saunders.
