The Kuretake Gansai Tambi 6 Large Pan Graphite Watercolour Paint Set includes six whole pans of traditional Japanese paint in graphite colours. The colours included in this set are:
These graphite colours retain the natural shimmer of graphite combined with subtle colour. Gansai Tambi (顔彩耽美) Watercolour Paints by Kuretake are traditional Japanese water based paints loved by professionals and craft workers alike. Much larger than traditional western whole pan watercolours, one pan of these paints measures 48 x 28mm. These high performance paints offer artists luminous, vibrant colour that can be used for all kinds of art applications - whether you’re sketching, creating manga illustrations, hand lettering, watercolour painting and more.
Use like a traditional watercolour paint by activating and lifting colour with a wet brush. Apply paint thickly for gouache-like colour, or thin with water for more transparent watercolour effects. All colours are lightfast, so you can be assured that your paintings will remain as vivid as they were the day you painted them.
These paints are non-toxic and confirm to ASTM D4236.
