Liquitex Professional Slow-Dri Blending Fluid Medium

An essential medium for creating softer edges and modelled forms. Liquitex slow-dri blending medium is a fluid painting medium for use with artists' acrylic paint. It has a unique formulation which extends 'open' time up to 40% giving you an opportunity to really work the paint to enhance colour blending. It adds flow to Liquitex heavy body professional paint and is similar in body to the Liquitex soft body paint range. You can mix in your colour to enhance the depth of the colour intensity, increase the transparency and gloss, ease the flow of paint and add flexibility and adhesion to the paint film. The medium is translucent when wet, but dries clear to reveal the full, rich colour of the paint. Unlike retarding additives, you can add up to 50% of this medium, as it contains binder to retain the integrity of the paint film, without jeopardising the strength of the paint film. Liquitex slow-dri medium is also flexible, non yellowing and water resistant when dry.
