This studio easel offers unparalleled plenty of flexibility, with a tilting feature that allows you to work in both a horizontal and vertical position. Tilt backwards for watercolour techniques and varnishing, or tilt upright if you're working with pastels, oils and acrylics. The entire canvas carriage is adjustable in height, providing the freedom to stand or sit while painting. The Essex also features a convenient storage shelf in the base and can be effortlessly folded down flat for convenient storage. Please be aware the Essex Easel requires assembly from scratch and is recommended for those experienced in assembling easels or similar structures.
