  • Wow !!! Just fantastic!!!

Wonderful brush to use!!!I like this far better than the series 7 brushes !!! I wish all my brushes were Renaissance rounds!!! I would readily swap for them.
The series 7 Miniature brushes I find not very good for me, as they will not hold sufficient paint to do fine lining -the same applies to the Series MP - I rarely use them for fine work yet that is what I bought them for....
One point to mention with the Renaissance is they have gold ferrules, an also gold tails ... I have lost count of the number of times I have reached for the brush, to find I have selected the wrong end !!!
Nevertheless, a brush which suits me far better than any other brush I own, including several series 7 brushes
Conclusion: Its not always the most expensive which proves to be the best.......

  • Well made with good spring

The brushes are well made with good spring. Flow is nicely controlled and reflects the value of the high level of sables. The main advantage over pure sable, I used to use W&N Series 7, is of course price but also the the point remains for much longer than pure sable, especially when working on rough surfaces. A great brush for the working artist.

  • I L U R V E these brushes

I get through loads of brushes but I keep using these because they take the 'wear' of being used regularly and, more importantly, being cleaned frequently. I find they keep their points longer than cheaper brushes.
