  • Good medium, lousy containers.

I have bought two of these from different sources and find that, like all W&N bottled mediums they gradually dry up around the bottle neck in storage (even in shops!) and make it very difficult to open the bottle. The "child-proof" (strong man proof?) bottles are the culprit and the how-to-open diagram on the bottle cap is obscure and no help whatsoever. I have gone back to slow-drying WN Artist's Medium, taking care to decant it first (a normal clean jam-jar holds about 250 ml). A pity W&N don't supply Liquin in tubes! Or at least re-design their bottles!

  • A welcome addition to my studio.

after years of using other mediums I must admit this product is by far best suited to my needs whilst working with oils..not only the way the medium helps to make the oil paint flow smoothly, but the drying time is superb, usually by the next day....only one complaint...its a pain getting the security cap off the bottle...meaning that I need to decant the product and discard the original container.

  • Must have product for the oil painter.

Been using this for a while now and it is a product that I can't do without. It really speeds up the drying time, allowing me to finish my paintings quicker, but with all the benefits of still using oil paints.
