Beautiful surface for fine detail
I use this surface for my figurative work, especially portraiture where I can rely on the grain of the surface not to influence the very finest of brush strokes. The stretchers are excellent and give a good all round tension and add to the substantial "feel" of the canvas. For me these are the best quality stretched canvasses I have found to suit my style.

Just a great finish. Never painted on cotton before, smooth, great surface with no need to use gesso.
