The Primed Smooth panels have a semi-absorbent acid-free ground that is excellent for painting in oils, acrylics, water media and also for drawing. Consisting of top quality 1/8" MDF, these panels are coated with an acrylic gesso primer. It’s perfectly suited for all painting mediums and for mounting papers, giclees and canvas. Use with standard framing or also frameless clips.

There are no smoother surfaces than this!
I love these boards too! Here, there is absolutely nothing in the way for a brush stroke!! I love painting details, and not having to worry about a bump in the surface... It takes a little while to get used to the smoothness, but after a while it really shows why they've developed these boards! The results are a joy to the eye! Highly recommend these boards for artists who enjoy slow and detailed work!
