This is an inexpensive alternative to Artist 100% Rag water colour paper which is most popular with students and amateurs. Strong backing board.
These pads are in a Hot Press (HP) surface meaning they have a very smooth surface suitable for fine detail work, Cold Pressed (NOT) with a medium texture and Rough with a rough texture.
Available spiral bound (140lb, 12 sheets) or gummed (140lb, 12 sheets).

Good mid range paper
A good paper at a reasonable price. It takes the paint well and paint lifts beautifully. A good mid range paper.

I love this paper and use it all the time for illustration work and for original paintings. The gummed blocks are much more convenient than stretching and the paper is so tough it will withstand anything you throw at it.
