This new paper has been produced by St Cuthberts Mill in the UK as a replacement for Fabriano 5 Hot Pressed (HP) as it is no longer being produced with a smooth surface. This new paper is virtually as white as the Fabriano 5 and is 50% cotton. It is designed for botanical paintings and for anyone who wants a very white watercolour paper with a smooth surface.
Now available in fat pads. Spiral bound on the short edge with 25 sheets per pad.

A beautiful paper to paint on
I regularly use this paper for my work, it is very white which is what I need to bring light to my illustrations.

I bought this pad, to try out hot pressed watercolour paper, it was offer. It took me some trials as I always use CP or rough, but it is very good. I am just an amatuer and wanted to try more detailed paintings. It is good.
