Derwent Inktense XL Blocks are an innovative bend of the beloved Inktene formula and the versatility of an extra-large block. You can experience the vibrant colours you love, but intensified in bold, expressive strokes. Each block packs in the formula of eight pencils worth of colour.

Inktense XL blocks allow you to work with Inktense colour in bolder strokes than ever before. Use the edges of the block to apply colour in fine lines, or tilt onto a flat side to create broad swathes of colour. Activation is effortless with a wet brush, instantly transforming the colour into vivid, ink-like paint. Like the rest of the Inktense range, these blocks offer excellent permanence. Layer colour freely in transparent washes without worrying about reactivation layers beneath.
