Panart Handmade Smooth Watercolour Paper Sheets are available in packs 350gsm weight A4, A3 and full imperial pack sizes. This paper is 100% cotton handmade watercolour paper with four deckled edges and is off-white in colour.
Please note: This paper is handmade so each sheet has a unique deckle and irregular texture. Although the paper is called smooth, it is not like traditional hot pressed paper, it is closer in surface texture to a hammered card.

Interesting but tricky
Beautiful appearance, but tricky to use. This 'smooth' is not far from other papers 'rough'. The surface is easily damaged and it can be difficult to get a perfectly sharp edge because of fibres. I think its also fairly highly sized. So it takes a bit of getting used to, but it's worth it and it cries out to be float-framed.
