  • Very versatile brush

If I only had room to take one brush on a day out sketching and painting then this one would be the one I would take. Useful for washes and making lines with the edge.

  • Prolene brushes

Excellent quality brushes at a reasonable price. I use these watercolour brushes for watercolour but mainly for painting very fine detail in oil and acrylic. I've tried pure sable for detail work in oils and acrylic but the Prolene work better at a fraction of the cost.

  • More supple than sable

These are ever so slightly stiffer than the Prolene Plus Series 007, but still more supple than sable.
