The Ron Ranson Hake Brush is made from goat hair, styled after the Japanese hakes with the expert help of Ron Ranson. Do not wash in hot water.
These hake brushes have long handles that measure approximately 26cm for the small brush, and 27cm for the medium, large and extra large.

Best Brush I Own
Love these brushes, very versatile. Great for washes etc and just re-dip the brush tips for a crisp clean edge. Perfect.

Being a beginner I have found that unless you actively seek help and ask the right questions, no answers will come. I watched a youtube video of a watercolour artist paint landscape using only Ron Ranson hake brushes. I ordered a set and haven't looked back. Once you wear the brushes in painting with the Ron Ranson hake brushes is an absolute pleasure. Talk about gaining confidence!!

In a couple of weeks I will call for a new set of these hake brushes. There is a significant difference of quality between them and those I can get in my country. And, as a consequence, the end result of the brush strokes is superb.
