Rosa Studio Acrylic Matt Varnish

Rosa Studio Acrylic Matt Varnish is a versatile, water-based varnish designed for acrylic paintings. Ideal as a final protective layer, it dries to a matte, non-reflective finish, perfect for enhancing depth without shine. Suitable for use on surfaces like canvas, wood, and stone, it provides a durable, waterproof layer that won’t yellow over time, helping your artwork maintain its intended look and colour balance.

With its low-odour formula, Rosa Studio Acrylic Varnish is safe for indoor use. You can also mix it with Rosa Studio Acrylic Glossy Varnish for a custom satin finish.

To use, stir thoroughly and apply two coats for full, even coverage. Absorbent surfaces may need additional layers. Allow around 30 minutes for drying, with two hours between successive coats. The varnish can be thinned with water for spray applications.
