This Schmincke Horadam Aquarell Artists Watercolour Dot Card includes 140 dots of Schmincke's professional quality watercolour paint. It is great for those who want to try the Horadam Aquarell brand, but who don't know which colours to start with and offers a brilliant opportunity to try the whole range without having to purchase the full tubes.
Schmincke Horadam Aquarell paints are made using only the very finest raw materials to ensure they meet the demands of today's professional watercolourists. These watercolours are unique in that both the tube and pan paints have the same formulation, ensuring high pigment load across the range and making colour much easier to reactivate once it has dried on the palette. Horadam's formula also includes a carefully calculated amount of Oxgall to ensure perfect surface tension allowing your colour to flow effortlessly when mixing and painting.
To use simply apply a wet brush to activate your selected colour.

Write a reviewThe paper used is a reasonable good water colour paper, so you can try he paints straight on the chart. There is enough blob for a few extra brush strokes.
Good quality if a little expensive for what it is...
These for cards are excellent . Being new to water colour it's wonderful to try these colours. It's a relaxing way to make choices just looking at the swatches!
