Schmincke Horadam Naturals Watercolour Paint are 100% vegan paint range that blends the properties of watercolour and gouache. Each of the 16 colours is made using natural earth pigments and plant extracts or resins. The colour range includes some unusual hues based on historic recipes and naturally derived ingredients.

These colours are mostly semi-transparent and dry to a matt finish similar to Gouache. The palette of colours is beautiful enough to use alone, but they will also mix well with other watercolour and gouache paints. The natural pigments used in these paints give them a slightly coarser texture than traditional watercolour or gouache, and also impart a delicate fragrance. Due to their manufacturing process, there may also be slight colour variations between batches. Each of the colours in this range is rated between 3 and 5 stars for lightfastness.
