The Derwent Battery Operated Twin Hole Sharpener can sharpen both large (9-12mm) and small (6-8mm) diameter pencils, perfect for achieving a sharp point quickly. The compact size is ideal for taking out and about. The high quality durable blades can withstand hours of sharpening and replacement sharpeners are available separately. A broken tip remover ensures any blockages are dealt with quickly. The visible reservoir captures the pencil shavings and these can be disposed of with the easily removed cover.
This sharpener is suitable for use with graphite and coloured pencils. Not suitable for use with soft leaded pencils.
Replacement blades also available.
Battery not included. Alkaline batteries are recommended. Do not use rechargeable batteries

Good value for money and easy to use
This is ideal to save you time sharpening your pencils. It is easy to use once you decide how to put in the batteries. One of the sharpeners became dislodged whilst inserting the batteries and this proved quite difficult to replace.

A good quality sharpener at a reasonable price. With the batteries in place it feels heavy and substantial, and the non-slip feet prevent it sliding on the table. Easy to use and to empty, and the point remover is a nice addition.

I've often found that made-in-China goods are "all mouth and no trousers" but this pencil sharpener is as good as I'd hoped. Operates smoothly and sharpened the pencils well.
I like the fact that you can remove the actual pencil sharpener bit, so the can be replaced when they wear out or if they break.
